Indirect Mechanism Design for Efficient and Stable Renewable Energy Aggregation
Published:
A privacy-protection model for aggregating intermittent renewable energy resources is proposed here. The power generation of each renewable power producer has a probabilistic profile, and the performance of the aggregation as a whole depends on these probabilistic profiles of the members.
The goal is to extract very little information from each intermittent renewable energy resource and design a mechanism for which the overall performance would be optimal. Not to mention that the members can submit false data.
A schematic of the proposed aggregation mechanism is proposed in the following figure.
